SRR offers spacious rooms, comfortable furniture and the ability for each resident to personalize their bedroom. In addition, the house manager works closely with the Direct Support team to provide a comfortable living environment, work on the goals and objectives of each resident, and integrate the individuals we support into the community in which they live.

Services include:

  • Dressing
  • Personal hygiene
  • Nutrition education
  • Meal preparation
  • Household chores

  • Budget management

Socializing:

SRR is not an average placement, but a place to call home! Our primary focus is to help our residents live as independently as possible. We assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) to support their independence and work toward personal goals every day.

In addition, our home offers large common living areas to encourage group activities like playing games, watching TV, and just talking over the events of the day.

Meals:

Family-style meals are a tradition at SRR so the home also includes a dining area for the enjoyment of the residents at mealtime or for special occasions with family and friends. Individuals share responsibility for meal planning, grocery shopping, cooking, and clean up.

Transportation:

Transportation is also provided to support the outside activities that are important to each individual. Transportation includes rides to work, vocational training, school, medical appointments, shopping, movies, community events, and other activities.

Counties & Populations Served:

Consumers may be served from the following counties: Alachua, Bradford, Columbia, Dixie, Gilchrist, Hamilton, Lafayette, Levy, Putnam, Suwannee, and Union. In addition, consumers may be re-locating from other counties throughout Florida, if the need occurs. SRR will not deny services to any individual applying based on their residence of origin. Consumer populations may include those with: severe impairment due to Autism, Cerebral Palsy, Spina Bifida, Intellectual Developmental Disabilities (IDD), Down syndrome, Prader-Willi syndrome, and Phelan-McDermid syndrome. SRR will provide services to consumers with developmental disabilities and assist in identifying the needs for supports and services.
